Andrea established AdviCorp in 1997. In addition to managing the firm he is in charge of its corporate finance and M&A advisory activities. From 1988 to 1997 he was an executive director with SBC Warburg in London with investment banking responsibility for Italy and Israel and was also a member of the board of directors of SBC Warburg Italia SIM S.p.A. During that time he advised on numerous high profile and innovative transactions including Italy’s first securitisation.
He previously worked in the corporate finance departments of Chemical Bank International, London, of Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura, Rome, during the period 1982-1988. He is a co-founder of IAG (Italian Angels for Growth), the leading Italian business angels’ group and is a member of its board of directors.
He received a Degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University in 1981. He speaks Italian, English and French fluently in addition to having working knowledge of Spanish and German.
Jonathan R H H Pockson
Managing Director, Corporate Finance UK
Jonathan joined the Corporate Finance division of AdviCorp in 2011 as Managing Director. He is a commercial chartered accountant with over twenty years experience of the pharmaceutical and life science industries. He was previously on the board of Genosis, the fertility diagnostics company having previously been senior vice president and head of finance with Emergent BioSolutions Inc, the NYSE quoted vaccines development company in Washington DC.
His experience spans the executive control and management of both publicly quoted and private companies and he has been directly responsible for raising over £130 million for a number of biotechnology companies in his career. His responsibilities have generally included managing the operations, finance, business development, communications, corporate governance and secretarial functions and also the Capital Markets interface on both sides of the Atlantic. He has also been responsible for the strategic planning, acquisition strategy and funding requirements of companies.
Jonathan’s involvement in companies in various sectors brings invaluable experience to AdviCorp and he has always been very close to investment banks in his commercial dealings. The financings he has completed have been with institutions, private equity, venture capitalists and through public offerings on both sides of the Atlantic. He has been directly involved in the listing of three companies on the LSE and NYSE. Over the past twenty years, he has worked with the world’s largest investment banks and also some of the most significant VCs who have helped develop the tech sectors.
Jonathan is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and has two Masters Degrees (in Finance and Law) from the University of Lancaster, UK.

Patrizia joined AdviCorp in 1999, actively participating in a range of M&A deals and advisory services, both international and national. Examples include JBS-Inalca, Fructamine-Bracco, JH Partners-Frette Spa, Arena Spa, Marr Spa.
Patrizia has extensive know-how in valuation techniques and its up-to-date applications, as well as outstanding negotiation skills. She previously cooperated with Censis Servizi SpA in the analysis and selection of projects applying for soft loans and grants, and cooperated with GlobalEuroNet, a California based venture capital fund, in the analysis, selection and financing of high tech private equity investment opportunities. She held classes and research activities at the Economics and Financial department of the University of Ancona and the University of Rome.
Patrizia has a degree in Economics cum laude from Università di L’Aquila.
Senior Adviser, Corporate Finance
Antonio is an expert in technology-based companies and start-ups. He holds an Electronics Engineering (Ms) Degree from the University of Trieste and has a considerable track record in market analysis, strategy and business development for technology based firms (IT, semiconductors, nanotechnologies, renewable energies, engineering).
He has worked as Programme Manager for the Innovation and Technology Management group at BATTELLE Geneva (subsidiary of Battelle Columbus, Ohio) and ZELTRON (R&D of Electrolux/Zanussi). As chief executive of Sviluppo Italia FVG, branch of the Italian Agency for Foreign Direct Investment and Enterprise Development, he has gained extensive direct knowledge of the Italian and EU “innovation ecosystem”, i.e. keystone firms, research Centres, public institutions, science parks, incubators and hi-tech clusters.
As chief executive of BIC FVG, a “EU best practice” business accelerator, he has contributed to launch and mentor approx. 30 new innovative ventures. Antonio is a co-founder of IAG (Italian Angels for Growth), the leading Italian business angels’ group.
Director, Corporate Finance
He joined the firm’s corporate finance division in 2009.
He was previously with the Italian-Israeli commercial mediation firm MS Group, with responsibility for the firm’s M&A activity. In this role, he advised Israeli investors on sectors such as security & defense, renewable energy, investment funds and real estate.
In 2006, he was a financial agent at the bank Cassa dei risparmi di Milano e della Lombardia. In 2002 he was nominated Chief Operating Officer of a notable advertising and new media agency with offices in Turin, Rome, Milan and London. In 1990 he managed the family business being fourth generation of industrialist specialised in the printing industry.
He studied Industrial Engineering at the “Institute of Production Engineering” in Tel Aviv and obtained a master in marketing at the European Institute of Design in Italy. In the past he seated on the boards of the Association of Printing Industry in Rome, of the Italian Association of Young Industrial Entrepreneurs and he was a member in the Commission of the International Relations of Confindustria, the Italian entrepreneur association.
Director, Corporate Finance
Andrea joined AdviCorp in 2003. He has extensive skills in financial modelings for M&A and financing transactions, and a detailed knowledge of all corporate finance activities carried out by companies.
Andrea earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification in 2014 and received a degree cum laude in Economia e Commercio from Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2003. He speaks Italian and English in addition to having good knowledge of French and Spanish.
